What is the process for setting up Cendyn Proposals?

Once your hotel signs a contract, Cendyn’s implementation team will create your Cendyn Proposals template using the images and content your hotel provided at the beginning of your onboarding process. You can begin personalizing your Cendyn Proposals once the template is created. Please check out these videos in the Knowledge Cloud to learn how to navigate the tool.

Does Cendyn Proposals work with our S&C system?

Yes, Cendyn Proposals will integrate directly with Envision so that you can merge your leads directly into Cendyn Proposals. This will pre-populate your proposals with all the related booking information.

Does Cendyn Proposals work with any other products or systems?

Cendyn Proposals is one of our many Sales solutions and integrates with Cendyn’s Cendyn Catering platform. This allows you to send your Cendyn Catering within your proposal and select which menu items to display.

What is the process for setting up Cendyn Catering?

Once our onboarding team completes your menu template, your property would be responsible for uploading all new menu items. Please check out these videos in the Knowledge Cloud to learn how to navigate the tool.

What can Cendyn Catering be used for?

These menus can be used for your hotel’s banquets, catering, room service, or on-site restaurant menus to showcase your food and beverage offerings.

How do we select images for our new Cendyn Catering?

All images are provided by Hyatt’s corporate brand team. If you would like to choose alternate images, you will need prior approval from Hyatt.

How do we add Cendyn Catering to our hotel’s website?

Please open a ticket with Hyatt support including the URL of your Cendyn Catering to have your Cendyn Catering embedded on your hotel’s website. To determine your Cendyn Catering’s URL, select “Published View” within Cendyn Catering, then copy the URL from the new tab that opens in your browser.

How would I action a guest request within the eConcierge dashboard?

Upon logging in, select “Requests” from the navigation bar. From here you can scroll down and select your desired guest request. Once you have located the request, you can edit, cancel, or confirm the request from within this dashboard. You also can email the guest directly from this page with any updates, questions, or other communications. Learn more.

How would I see a history of past requests in eConcierge?

To see a history of recent guest requests, select “Inquiry” from the top navigation bar. Once here, select your date range and any other identifying information such as first name, last name or email address and click “Show History.” Learn more.

How would I run reports in eConcierge?

To run reports, select “Reports” from the top navigation bar. Once here, you can select from the Requested Items Summary, Category Summary, or Usage Statistics. Within each of these reports you can select your date range and event category. Learn more.

How would I search for itineraries in eConcierge?

To search for itineraries, select “Itineraries” from the top bar navigation. Once here, input the guest arrival date along with either last name, email address, or confirmation number and click search. Learn more.

How would I search for a guest in eConcierge?

To search for a guest, select “Guest” from the top bar navigation. From here, enter the guest’s last name along with the email address, confirmation number, or arrival date and click Search. Learn more.

How would I update a guest’s contact preferences in eConcierge?

To update a guest’s contact preferences or to add an additional member to their party, search for the guest under the “Guest” tab. Once you have selected your guest, you are now in the guest profile. From here you can add their preferred method of contact, along with updating their email, phone, and mobile numbers. You can also add additional guests on this page.
